Starting March 30, Silknet will provide an updated smart service for parents. Instead of the old "Internet Parent" app, users will now have access to the new Silk Kiddo internet security app.
To download and activate the Silk Kiddo app, users can visit the "Additional Service" category on the Mysilknet.com portal.
Existing subscribers of the Internet Parent service must download the new Silk Kiddo app to replace the old app. The service cost will remain the same and will be charged on a monthly basis.
Premium package subscribers will benefit from updated conditions, allowing them to manage up to seven devices instead of the previous limit of 10.
Silk Kiddo makes it easier for parents to protect their children from internet threats, block unwanted websites, prevent cyberbullying and fake information, set internet usage time limits, and track the location and status of their child's mobile device.
Users can cancel the service/agreement without additional costs before the updated terms take effect. To terminate the agreement, users should apply to the company and follow the process outlined in the subscription agreement. Otherwise, the customer will be considered to have accepted the proposed changes and the service will continue to be provided under the updated conditions and rates.
